musty smellun-turned-down bed
I must say, my stay wasn't entirely smooth. the bathroom had a distinctly musty smell, not exactly the fresh scent one hopes for. also, the promised turndown service seemed to have taken a vacation of its own. My bed remained stubbornly un-turned-down throughout my stay.

Balanced stay experience

good foodnightcap bargreat locationhorrendous lightingmissing slippersno dental kit
The food was good. I enjoyed the bar every evening for a nightcap. The location is great for transport.
The lighting was horrendous. The rooms are so dark, it was ridiculous. They do not have bedroom slippers or bath robes. There was no dental kit in the room.

good locationstained paperclogged shower
The location was pretty good if you like walking. Otherwise, there is a metro stop just around the corner.
The room was quite dirty. There were stained papers and a laundry bag. The shower drain was clogged and full of scum. The grout also needed attention. (I did expect more from a four-star place).
